Geo is set to the public the new smartphone ‘Geophone Next’ in collaboration with Google. It is said to be the cheapest smartphone not only in India but also in the world.
A photo of the new Geophone Next was unveiled at Reliance’s annual general meeting. As seen in the photo, this phone will have a full-touch display. Its power and volume buttons will be on the right side of the phone.
This smartphone has a voice assistant feature. It has an AR filter in the ‘Smart Camera’ feature. With this filter, users can experience digital pictures in the real world.
Geophone Next will have all the apps of Google and Geo. The phone will also support the Android Play Store.
“After the production of the cheap Geo smartphone made in collaboration with Google, we are excited to work on other similar steps,” said Google CEO Sundar Pichai during the annual general meeting. “Our team has developed a special Android OS version for Geophone Next.” It has language and translation features, a great camera, and support for the latest Android updates.
